Jihad
Classical interpretations
Seeing oneself wage jihad against the enemy in a dream signifies striving to provide for one's wife and children, being praised with a good name, and renown and honor. Sometimes a dream of jihad is also interpreted as the breadth of one's provision. Again, if a person sees himself go to wage jihad, it signifies virtue and wealth and attaining high degrees in the hereafter...
Seeing many warriors set out on the road for jihad signifies that those people will attain deliverance, victory, rank, honor, and strength. Al-Nabulsi said: "Waging war in a dream is a sign of striving to provide for one's wife and children and of being praised with a good name."
Seeing oneself fight the enemy alone, swinging one's sword right and left, signifies prevailing over the enemy, and help and victory. Again, seeing oneself killed in the way of Allah signifies ease and joy and attaining provision with ease. For those killed in the way of the Truth are not in fact dead. They attain many blessings in the presence of their Lord, and Paradise is theirs.
Seeing oneself in battle, charging the enemy and cutting down the unbelievers, signifies many blessings and benefits. If a person sees himself wage jihad at sea, it is a sign of poverty, fear, and weakness. Being seen at the front waging jihad with a weapon in hand is interpreted as performing the prayer, giving alms, and being zealous in religion.
