Water spring

If a person sees a spring of water in a dream, it is interpreted in three ways: a) blessing, b) good, c) abundance and attaining one's desire.

Seeing a spring inside one's house or in a place where it will do no harm signifies livelihood, good, and benefit, and that person will attain much good.

Seeing a spring in one's bedroom is a sign of a sorrow that will come through women.

Seeing water gush from one's own wall is a sign of sorrow and grief that will befall the dreamer through someone in that house, such as a brother, a son-in-law, or a friend.

Seeing a spring appear inside a house or a neighborhood, whether or not its water overflows, signifies that an event will occur in that place over which people will grieve and weep. If a person sees himself perform ablution from spring water, it is a sign of release from sorrow and grief. If he is afraid, he will be safe from fear. If he is sick, he will recover. If he is a sinner, Allah will forgive his sin.

Seeing a clear and limpid spring is interpreted as a tax collector. The dreamer will be given the office of tax collector.

Seeing that clear spring flow between houses signifies provision and something good that will be sent to the dreamer.

Seeing a water spring, or drinking water from it, signifies purity, well-being, a good life, and provision.

Seeing a spring whose water is sweet, clear, and flowing signifies a person of high standing who is noble and generous; seeing a spring whose water is bitter and muddy signifies a miserly, base, and lowly man.

Seeing a spring in a locality dry up signifies the passing away of an eminent person in that place.

Seeing a spring with pure, clear water and a beautiful appearance signifies a pleasant livelihood and long life.

Ja'far al-Sadiq said that seeing a spring is interpreted in five ways: high standing; calamity; disaster; grief and sorrow; and long life. If the spring's water is abundant and clear, it signifies high standing; if it overflows excessively, is muddy, and spreads around, it signifies calamity and disaster; if it is scant but muddy, it signifies grief and sorrow; if it is bitter and hot, it signifies illness; and if the water is clear and its appearance pleasant, it signifies long life.

Abu Sa'id al-Wa'iz said: Whoever sees a spring emerging from his house will experience sorrow because of a woman, but the outcome will be good.

Seeing spring water poured over oneself signifies recovery from illness and safety from fear.
