Building a new house in a dream signifies knowledge, provision, joy, and happiness.

If a person sees a house made of iron in a dream, it is a sign that he will live a long life together with his wife. Sometimes the house seen in a dream is interpreted as the dreamer's world.

Seeing oneself enlarge one's house and its rooms signifies the widening of one's state in the world and abundant livelihood and fortune. The house dream also signifies the wife with whom a man lives. For this reason it is said of one who marries that "he entered the house". Sometimes it is a sign of the dreamer's body.

Seeing oneself load a house on one's back and carry it signifies taking upon oneself the maintenance and care of a woman. Conversely, seeing the house load oneself and carry one is a sign that one's maintenance and care will fall upon a woman.

Seeing one's house made of gold is interpreted as fire. For gold is the color of fire.

Seeing oneself climb onto a house one does not know at all signifies marrying a woman in proportion to the worth, fortune, and honor of that house.

Seeing in one's house a spacious room plastered with mud is a sign of many righteous women in that household. If the room is plastered with lime and built with tiles, it signifies the exact opposite, that the woman is foul-mouthed and hypocritical.

Ibn Sirin said: Seeing the ceiling, roof, or wall of a house collapse or burn signifies that a calamity will occur in that house.

Seeing one's house grow larger is a sign of blessing, and seeing it grow smaller a sign that blessing and provision will decrease.

Seeing oneself decorate and adorn a house signifies enmity and hardship that will arise in that house.

Seeing one's own house dark is interpreted as a distant journey without benefit or comfort. Conversely, seeing one's house bright signifies meeting good and blessing on the journey one sets out on. If a person sees himself put up a building in a city surrounded by houses and fortresses, it signifies marrying in that city and having a child. A house a person sees from afar in a dream is a sign of worldly goods he will attain from afar.

Seeing oneself enter an unknown house where there are dead people signifies the hereafter. For the dead are all in the abode of the hereafter.

Seeing oneself enter an unknown house but finding no way to leave is interpreted as death. If the house entered is plastered with earth and mud, it signifies that the dreamer's state in the hereafter will be good; if it is plastered with lime, that his state in the hereafter will be bad and wretched. It has been said: A man's house signifies his body, his self, and his person. For the house is known by him and he by the house. The house is also the place of a person's honor, his standing, and his family. Sometimes the house signifies the wealth and clothing by which the dreamer sustains his life.

Seeing a house signifies marriage for an unmarried person.

Seeing a sick person in one's house signifies release from every kind of grief and sorrow.
