Diver

If a person sees a diver in a dream, it is interpreted as the head of state or his deputy.

Seeing oneself go into the sea in order to bring up pearls signifies service to the head of state. Sometimes this dream is also a sign of seeking knowledge from a scholar or asking for goods from a merchant. In the dream, he will attain his desire and hope in the measure of the pearls he obtains from the sea. Again, seeing a diver in a dream signifies a person who plunges recklessly into difficult affairs. Sometimes seeing a diver is also a sign of a great scholar who follows the path of the spiritual guides, grasps the subtleties of what the verifiers have said, and leads the people. Again, seeing a diver is a sign of a man who risks his life, his wealth, and everything in the service of the sultan, though to no use. His holiness Ibn Sirin said: Seeing oneself dive into the sea and bring up a pearl signifies wealth that will come from the head of state or his deputies, or knowledge and spiritual understanding. Jabir al-Maghribi also said: Seeing oneself dive into the sea and bring nothing up signifies failure in acquiring knowledge and the Qur'an. Whoever sees himself dive into the sea and bring up a large pearl will attain his wish.
