Classical interpretations

Al-Nabulsi said: The eye seen in a dream is a person's religion and the eye of the heart that sees the path of guidance and of error. If a person sees many eyes on his body, they signify that he is a very religious and righteous person.

Seeing oneself, while blind, gain two eyes and be able to see is interpreted in seven ways: a) religion, b) wealth, c) children, d) insight, e) guidance, f) right direction, g) healing...

Ibn Kathir said: Seeing one's eyes blind signifies living far from home.

Seeing oneself blind and preventing someone who wants to treat one from doing so is a sign of undertaking a matter that is unsuitable, unfitting, and unlawful for oneself. If a person sees his eye made of iron, it signifies tearing the veil of honor and being disgraced before the people. And that person will fall into severe grief. If a person sees a human or an animal eye on his shoulder or shoulder blade, it signifies recovering lost property. A black eye is a sign of religion, and a hazel eye is interpreted as opposition to religion. A sky-blue eye expresses something that contains innovation in religion. A green eye signifies a religion that opposes all religions.

Seeing oneself with sharp-sighted eyes is a sign of good for all people.

Seeing poorly is the opposite... If a person sees himself walking on his eyes, it signifies that he will fall ill and be bedridden. If a person sees an eye in his heart, it signifies that he fulfills the commands of his religion and that he will speak words of wisdom born from his heart. For the eye of the heart is not like the eye of the head.

Seeing oneself eat another person's eye is a sign of consuming that person's wealth.

Seeing one's eyes beautiful is interpreted in three ways: a) guidance, b) knowledge, c) insight... If the person who sees this dream has someone sick, that person will recover; if he is in distress, he will be freed from it. If an unbeliever sees his eye become beautiful, it signifies that he will be honored with Islam. If a poor person sees it, it is interpreted as wealth. If a person sees his eye grow indescribably large, it signifies favor that will appear for him from Allah Most High.

Seeing one's eyes destroyed signifies punishment and ruin that will come down from Allah Most High.

Seeing one's eyes become ears signifies becoming blind and hearing with one's ears everything one used to see with one's eyes.

Seeing oneself gouge out an eye is a sign of long life. Sometimes putting out an eye signifies an ailment that will afflict the eye.
