Seeing the sun in a dream is interpreted as the head of state, one's parents, gold, or a beautiful woman.
Seeing oneself become the sun signifies great dominion in proportion to the sun's light.
Seeing oneself cling to the sun and reach it signifies good, benefit, and strength coming from the great men of the state. If a person sees the sun under clouds, it is a sign that one of the statesmen will die.
Seeing oneself speak with the sun signifies attaining honor and distinction from the ruler. If the dreamer is worthy and sees himself reach a sun hung on a chain, he will become governor of a province and rule there with justice. If a worthy person sees the sun's light illuminate the whole earth from east to west, it signifies possessing the earth and attaining knowledge for which he will be remembered all over the world. If an unmarried man sees the sun rise in his house, it is a sign of marriage, and a pure woman will fall to his lot. If a woman sees the same dream, she too will marry and attain happiness.
Seeing the sun rise inside one's house and light up every corner signifies honor, distinction, fame, and rank.
Seeing oneself swallow the sun is a sign of sorrow and grief.
Seeing the sun prostrate to oneself signifies possessing a great state. Al-Nabulsi said: "Whoever sees himself reach the light of the sun will attain a treasure and great wealth. And Allah Most High will bestow good upon that person. Seeing the sun rise and then set again in the east signifies good and fine deeds for all people. For the sun rising in this way always wakes people from sleep and drives them to work."
Seeing oneself take the sun into one's palm or lap and possess it signifies great prosperity and honor and distinction that will come from the sultan. And the dreamer will be honored in his domain.
Seeing the sun dark and the color of blood, or seeing its shape distorted, is interpreted as bad for all people.
