If a person sees shade in a dream, it signifies a scholar who is devout, ascetic, and has memorized the Qur'an.
Seeing oneself withdraw from intense heat into the shade of a tree is a sign of deliverance from sorrow, grief, distress, and troubles.
Seeing a person's shadow is a sign of the world and its changes and of the varied states of those in it. Sometimes the shade seen in a dream signifies repentance and guidance, the beauty of affirming Allah's oneness, and reflection on Allah Most High and the universe. Shadows seen in a dream are interpreted as awe, dignity, and elevation.
Seeing oneself in the shadow of a mountain signifies elevation that will be conferred by the head of state.
Seeing the shade of a palace or a wall is a sign of a high rank that will be granted by a person of lofty standing. Kirmani said: Seeing oneself sit in the shade in a ruin is a sign that one's appointed time is near. The shade of a tent or of an animal signifies good and benefit that will come from the government. Shade seen in summer signifies comfort, benefit, and a person of fame and rank under whose protection one will come. Shade seen in winter, however, signifies sorrow, grief, and innovations. If a person sees himself feel the heat of the sun on his body and withdraw into the shade, it is a sign of deliverance from sorrow and of attaining comfort and safety.
Seeing oneself feel cold in the shade and come out to sit in the sun is a sign of deliverance from poverty and of attaining blessing. For cold, like poverty, makes a person miserable.
