Thirst

If a thirsty person sees in a dream that he wants to drink water from a river but cannot, this dream signifies that he will be delivered from sorrow and grief. Thirst in a dream signifies stagnation in the state and affairs of wealth, fields, and farmers. Sometimes this dream is also a sign of poverty and of slack business for traders. If a person sees that he wants to drink water but is unable to drink, or that he is standing beside a river, a spring, or a well and cannot reach the water, it signifies that he will not find a way to attain what he desires.
