Seeing an increase on one's body without harm signifies that blessing will increase. A dead person's skin being seen beautiful in a dream is a sign that that person has attained the blessings of Paradise.

Seeing his skin thick or black, however, signifies that the dead person is in deprivation.

Seeing one's skin or face turn red in a dream is interpreted as abasement and hardship, and his sorrow and grief will last long. Sometimes seeing skin is also a sign of patience and of showing fortitude and courage in difficulties. Seeing a scholar's skin flayed and removed in a dream is a sign that that person will abandon and forget his knowledge. Sometimes the flaying of skin also signifies taking off one's shirt when going to the bathhouse. For one cannot wash without taking off one's shirt. If a black woman sees her skin flayed and removed, it signifies the sun rising after the darkness of night. For the night too is wrapped in black. Until it casts off the darkness and light appears after it.
