Ruin

Classical interpretations

If a person sees a ruin in a dream, it is interpreted as preaching and counsel. A ruin sometimes also signifies years, numbered days, or being united with those of the city's people who emigrated from it.

Seeing oneself enjoin good and forbid evil in a dream is a sign that these ruins will be renewed. If a person sees himself enter a ruin and write or read a book in it, it signifies becoming a person of knowledge and wisdom.

Seeing a desolate place and finding no one there signifies anxiety and grief. Again, seeing a noble mosque in ruins, with nothing left of its former state, is a sign that the commander of that quarter will change and that the new commander who comes will not act with justice.
