Gabriel

Gabriel is the sultan of the angels and the being who brings revelation to the prophets. For this reason, seeing him in a dream signifies honor and esteem, strength and good tidings. Again, if a person sees his holiness Gabriel cheerful, giving him good tidings and counsel, it is a sign of honor, esteem, and strength. It signifies that the one who sees this dream, if sick, will recover; if afraid, will be safe from fear; and if sorrowful, will be delivered from grief and sorrow.

Seeing Gabriel (peace be upon him) in a dream is also interpreted as martyrdom. If a person sees himself take something to eat from Gabriel (peace be upon him), it is a sign that that person will be one of the people of Paradise. Again, seeing his holiness Gabriel greet oneself in a dream signifies that the dreamer will become a scholar of high standing and worthy of praise. Al-Nabulsi said: Seeing Gabriel (peace be upon him) in a dream signifies that the dreamer, however long he lives, will in the end die a martyr.

Seeing oneself take something to eat from Gabriel (peace be upon him) is interpreted as being among the people of Paradise. Sometimes seeing Gabriel (peace be upon him) also signifies campaigns, striving, and victory and triumph over the enemy. Again, seeing that great angel is a sign of gaining knowledge of the sciences of the Sharia, of astronomy, and of other sciences besides.

Seeing oneself in the form of Gabriel (peace be upon him) is interpreted as nobility, generosity, goodness, and blessing.
