Descending

Seeing oneself descend from a high place signifies separation from conditions or states one possesses, such as rank, office, spouse, religion, or belief. Descending from a small height, hill, or riding animal signifies, according to the value and extent of the place descended to, the strengthening of one's desire and wish. Descending from a mountain is interpreted as a good condition. At times, descending from a height signifies humiliation and wretchedness. It is also said that descending from a mountain signifies deliverance from sorrow and grief. Some interpreters, however, said that it signifies deterioration of affairs and the impossibility of one's wishes. Descending an old staircase signifies, for a merchant, decline and loss in trade.
