Blacksmith

If a person sees a blacksmith in a dream, it signifies a strong, skilful, and imposing man. For iron is obtained after much labour. Sometimes seeing a blacksmith is also a sign of the angel of death, Azrael (peace be upon him), iron being his strength and severity.

Seeing oneself soften iron in one's hand like wax signifies attaining blessing, provision, and dominion.

Seeing a blacksmith one does not know is a sign of the head of state. Sometimes seeing a blacksmith also signifies evils and hardships, and being barred from disposing of one's property. Sometimes it is also a sign of making something hard and difficult easy. For however hard iron may be, the blacksmith softens it in the fire and shapes it as he wishes... If a person sees a blacksmith in a dream, it also signifies people who earn their living from fire, such as cooks, bakers, coppersmiths, and the like. Again, seeing a blacksmith signifies wealth, blessing, orderly affairs, and superiority of office and position.
