Anvil

Seeing an anvil on which iron is hammered signifies patience and steadfastness in one’s affairs. At times, an anvil signifies things through which one reaches a goal, such as a bridge that is trodden on or shoes.

Seeing an anvil is also interpreted as provision and lawful wealth, because blacksmiths earn their livelihood on the anvil.

If a person sees a blacksmith's anvil in a dream, it signifies strength and wealth.

Ja'far al-Sadiq said: Seeing a blacksmith's anvil in a dream is interpreted in five ways: a) a man of high standing, b) benefit, c) strength, d) guardianship, e) good fortune... Kirmani also said this: Seeing oneself strike an anvil with a hammer signifies a man who carries words back and forth between two worthy people, backbites one to the other, and sows discord between them.
