Antidote

Seeing medicine that neutralizes poison signifies safety from fear. The source recounts that a man came to Ibn Sirin and said, "O Imam, in my dream a snake bit the thumb of my hand. My thumb swelled and caused pain and suffering, and when I took a medicine and put it in my mouth, the pain disappeared."

Ibn Sirin replied, "O man, you are someone who keeps company with sinful people. Had you said that the medicine had no effect, I would have thought that you were clinging to something, though even I would not know what that thing was."
