Abraham (peace be upon him)

Classical interpretations

As is known, Abraham is one of the great prophets and the friend of God.

Seeing that distinguished person in a dream signifies goodness, blessing, worship, perfection, provision, honor, and righteous descendants, for the Noble Messenger is from the lineage of Abraham.

Seeing him also signifies enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, knowledge, guidance, and leaving one's family and relatives for the sake of worshiping Allah. At times, seeing him signifies a compassionate father, for he is described as the father of Islam, and he is the noble prophet who named the community of Muhammad 'Muslims.' Seeing Abraham call the dreamer and going toward him saying 'Labbayk' signifies elevation of spiritual rank and righteousness. At times, seeing Abraham signifies love and affection for the sake of Allah, because he was prepared to sacrifice his only son for the pleasure of his Lord. If Abraham takes hold of one of the dreamer's limbs and that limb is diseased, it signifies recovery from the illness.

Seeing Abraham also signifies victory over an enemy, marriage to a believing and pure woman, and righteous, blessed offspring. It is also interpreted as the pilgrimage. Very often, seeing him signifies the removal of sorrow and grief, the coming of goodness and blessing, a life of abundance in this world, and guidance.
