Diver

Seeing a diver signifies a ruler or the ruler's deputy. Diving into the sea for pearls may signify service to the ruler, seeking knowledge from a scholar, or seeking wealth from a merchant; one's attainment is measured by the pearls obtained. A diver may also signify someone who enters difficult matters fearlessly, or a great scholar who follows spiritual guides and understands subtle truths.

Ibn Sirin says bringing up a pearl from the sea signifies wealth or knowledge from the ruler or his deputies. Jabir al-Maghribi says diving and bringing up nothing signifies failure in studying knowledge and the Qur'an, while bringing up a large pearl signifies attaining one's desire.
