Flattery

If a scholar sees another person flatter him in order to learn the knowledge he possesses, it signifies attaining honor, righteousness and uprightness in religion, and reaching the thing he desires.

Seeing a woman one knows flatter oneself signifies safety from an enemy. At times, flattery and ingratiation signify generosity, piety, and giving charity. Flattering someone for a worldly possession is an undesirable and disfavored dream. If a person who is not accustomed to flattery sees himself flattering others, it signifies humiliation and disgrace.
