Burial

Being buried after death signifies a distant journey. Being buried alive by a known person signifies oppression or harmful speech from that person; dying in the grave signifies death through that oppression, while coming out alive signifies release from grief, debt, and distress. Burial at certain times of day is interpreted as enjoining evil and forbidding good. Burial may also signify illness, imprisonment, marriage, a trust, or a pledge.

Seeing oneself dead or buried may signify dying before repentance, while emerging from the grave signifies repentance and seeking forgiveness. The dead burying another dead person signifies renewed closeness among relatives.
