Gentleness

Seeing oneself treat another person with gentleness and kindness signifies dignity and honor, reward, and spiritual merit.

Seeing oneself gentle in character, sweet in speech, and smiling signifies following the noble Sunnah, walking in the path of the great people of religion, goodness, and harmonious companionship. Al-Nabulsi said that if people of high rank and standing see themselves behaving gently toward the lowest of people, it signifies a decrease in their rank and standing and the loss of their position.
