Scratching

Scratching or cutting one's ears with a knife or similar sharp instrument is interpreted through weakness, property and benefit, and relief. Having part of the body scored with a razor without blood emerging signifies that something unwanted will occur.

Scratching and clawing in a dream are interpreted as loss in wealth. Thus, seeing someone scratch the dreamer signifies harm affecting the dreamer's own wealth or the wealth of relatives.

Seeing one's forehead scratched signifies the end of life and the arrival of death. Al-Nabulsi said that if swelling, blood, pus, yellow fluid, or something similar appears at the place being scratched, the person doing the scratching will say something about the person scratched, and the latter will attain wealth and blessing.
