Seeing money in a dream signifies empty words spoken with ostentation.

Seeing money also signifies grief, sorrow, hardship, and words that will cause pain. At times, money signifies lowly provision, relief after distress, or a deed requiring little work but bringing great reward.

Seeing oneself swallow a silver coin and then pass a coin while relieving oneself signifies heresy and denial of the Truth. Al-Nabulsi said that a person who sees himself swallow gold and then pass money while relieving himself becomes an unbeliever after being a Muslim, because gold represents religion while money represents corruption and disbelief.

Finding money signifies hardship and weariness, because money constantly occupies a person and a person often endures hardship in order to earn it.
