Ibn Sirin said that drinking a fragrant and sweet beverage in a dream is interpreted in six ways: purity in religion; benefit; useful knowledge; long life; a good livelihood; and remembrance of God. If a dead person gives the dreamer a fragrant and sweet beverage, it signifies enjoining good and forbidding evil and that the deceased is among the people of Paradise. If a wealthy person drinks honey, apple drink, rose water, or another beverage desired by everyone, it signifies a door of good and goodness opening for him. For the poor, the source interprets this as something unpleasant, because a poor person cannot obtain everything he desires.

Seeing apple juice signifies benefit received through a servant, worldly goods accompanied by sorrow and grief, and service rendered by someone. For a sick person, drinking a beverage signifies recovery.

Drinking apple or other fruit juice is interpreted according to its fruit, while drinking water of water lily or rose signifies impossible things and that the promise of the person making it should not be relied upon.

Drinking an unknown beverage signifies what the people of truth and those favored with divine grace drink.
