Chair or Throne

Seeing a chair or throne in a dream signifies elevation that will come through the head of state, or it signifies a woman.

Seeing a chair made of iron signifies strength and an assistant. A wooden chair signifies little strength and assistance together with hypocrisy. This dream has also been interpreted as honor and elevation, a wife, children, lofty houses, much wealth, and clothing. If a learned and virtuous person sees the Throne above the heavens, it signifies elevation in degree and high ranks. Sitting on a chair signifies becoming someone's guardian or heir. If the dreamer has a skill or profession, he will be given an office and rise in that position. Sitting on a chair or couch with clothing upon it signifies great knowledge, immediate goodness, quickly performed charity, honor, and rank. If a pregnant woman sees herself sitting on a chair, it signifies the birthing stool on which she will sit during delivery. Sitting on a chair also signifies salvation and success in the hereafter in proportion to the chair's value, beauty, height, and newness.

Finding a chair and sitting on it signifies sovereignty or marriage to a woman according to the chair's value and form.

Seeing the chair break into pieces signifies the death of the dreamer or the dreamer's wife. Sometimes seeing a chair signifies relief from distress for a pregnant woman, marriage for an unmarried person, and a child for a married person.
