Name

Seeing one's name changed in a dream signifies goodness, happiness, and safety.

Being addressed by a beautiful name signifies honor and dignity. Being addressed by an ugly or disparaging name—such as blind, lame, or crippled—signifies being known by an unpleasant reputation.

Seeing one's name changed is interpreted according to the goodness of the new name, and the dreamer will be happy and safe. Being called by another name, if it is a beautiful name, signifies elevation, honor, and distinction in proportion to the beauty of that name's meaning. If the name is bad, the interpretation is the opposite.

Seeing one's name disappear or be erased signifies esteem and popularity. Sometimes it also signifies the cutting off of provision and the approach of death.
