Funeral

Performing the funeral prayer over a deceased person signifies forming brotherhood with a people for the sake of Allah. Carrying a coffin and funeral bier signifies following a person of power and sovereignty and obtaining wealth from him.

Seeing oneself as the deceased upon a bier signifies abundant wealth. Following a funeral procession signifies corruption in religion. Being placed on a coffin and carried on people's shoulders signifies elevation and authority, with the dreamer becoming a leader over people. Al-Nabulsi says that if a governor, merchant, leader, or craftsman sees himself traveling upon a coffin, it signifies boarding a ship.

Seeing a funeral moving through the air signifies hardship caused by the death of a leader or scholar, or the death abroad or in war of a person of distinction.

Seeing a funeral in a street signifies the goods in that street's shops being sold.

Seeing many funerals placed together signifies that the people of that place are greatly occupied with sins. Carrying a funeral oneself signifies unlawful wealth. If an unmarried woman sees herself dead, it signifies that she will soon marry; for a married woman, it signifies deficiency in religion.
