Rock

Seeing rocks signifies a patient and honorable woman. Rocks also signify acting with insight in one's affairs, patience and steadfastness, long life, animals, and buildings. Al-Nabulsi said that seeing a rock may also signify forgetfulness, in reference to the Qur'anic verse meaning, 'When I took refuge at the rock, I forgot the fish' (al-Kahf 18:63). Kirmani said that seeing a rock is interpreted in two ways: wealth and a great man.

Seeing a white stone fall signifies friendship with a person of good character and goodness and benefit received from him. If an unmarried person sees himself mount a stone as though mounting a horse, it signifies marriage in the near future.

Seeing many large stones within a city signifies low prices and abundance for its people. If the rock signifies fame, that fame will continue for the dreamer for a long time; if it signifies a woman, she will be patient and content. A rock is also interpreted as a threshold, the foot of a staircase, a pillar, or a monument. Piercing a stone and trying to shape it into something signifies investigating a matter and learning its secret. Sometimes seeing huge rocks signifies a hard-hearted, heedless, and ignorant person.
