Killing a Man

Seeing oneself kill a man in a dream signifies sin and error.

Seeing oneself kill one’s own self, however, signifies goodness.

Seeing oneself killed by another person signifies long life and attaining abundant goodness.

Seeing oneself kill someone also signifies, in accordance with the verse, ‘You killed a man, but We saved you from distress’ (Ta-Ha, 40), deliverance from fear, severity, and sorrow.

Seeing oneself deliberately and unjustly kill a man signifies that the dreamer is sinful.

Seeing oneself kill a man without slaughtering him signifies goodness and wealth that will come to the one who is killed.

Seeing oneself confess to having killed a person signifies a rank that the dreamer will attain. For Moses said, ‘My Lord, I killed one of them, and I fear that they will kill me’ (Al-Qasas, 35); after Moses acknowledged this matter, he attained rank. It is also said that whoever sees himself kill his own child will receive provision from an unexpected place.

Seeing oneself on a battlefield and killed while fighting signifies gain, profit in trade, and fulfillment of one’s word.
