Journey

The best journey seen in a dream is one made in the direction of the Kaaba. Therefore, seeing oneself set out toward the Kaaba signifies the pleasure of Allah Most High. For people of righteousness, a journey signifies gain, honor, and deliverance from hardship and distress. Setting out from one's present place toward a better place signifies improvement in one's condition and attainment of one's aim.

Abu Sa'id al-Wa'iz said that seeing travel is interpreted in three ways: moving from one place to another, changing from one state to another, and journeying. If a sick person sees himself travel on a distant journey or move from one house to another unknown house, it signifies death.

Seeing oneself return from a journey signifies completion of an affair and fulfillment of a wish. Setting out on foot signifies debts that will accumulate upon the dreamer.
