Seeing a ram signifies an honorable and valuable man. Slaughtering a ram and skinning it signifies taking the enemy's wealth; eating its meat signifies consuming the enemy's property. Breaking one of a ram's horns signifies weakening a great and powerful person and breaking his strength.

Riding on a ram's back, controlling it as one wishes, and seeing it obey signifies defeating a large, strong, and powerful man.

Seeing a ram ride on one's own back signifies the presence of a large and severe enemy who will prevail over the dreamer.

Seeing a ram slaughtered and its meat distributed among people signifies the death of an important person in that place and the division of his property. Slaughtering a ram as a sacrifice or for its meat signifies deliverance from distress and sorrow, safety from fear, repayment of debt, and going on Hajj; if the dreamer is sick, God Most High will grant him recovery. Roasting a ram signifies illness, punishment from the ruler, or imprisonment. If a person qualified for office sees himself slaughtering a ram, it signifies that he will become governor of a city. Thus, whoever is given a ram in a dream will hold a governorship for one year; if many rams are seen, each ram signifies one year in office. If the dreamer is already a governor, he will remain governor of that province for as many years as the number of rams.

Seeing a ewe become a ram signifies that one's wife will not become pregnant. For an unmarried person, this dream signifies strength, dignity, and victory over an enemy.
