On the road

Removing from the road something that harms people signifies faith, giving charity, cleansing oneself of sins, and having a gentle and pleasant character. It also signifies elevation in rank, commanding what is right and forbidding what is wrong, goodness, and benevolence. Conversely, placing thorns, stones, or anything that will disturb people on a road they use signifies speaking evil words, harming people with one's hand and tongue, and evil deeds.
