Spleen

Seeing one's spleen healthy signifies the soundness of the place where one's wealth is stored and also joy. Pain in the spleen signifies misuse of the means of livelihood of oneself and one's household.

Ja'far al-Sadiq says animal spleens signify wealth: if the animal is lawful to eat, lawful wealth; if not, unlawful wealth. Removing and throwing away one's own spleen signifies wasting wealth, while having two spleens signifies a doubling of one's possessions and strength in religion.
