Dye or Paint

Paint or dye is interpreted according to color: white signifies a good and orderly life; yellow, illness; black, sorrow; blue, friendship; green, sincerity and devotion; brown, inheritance. For a professional dyer, using dye signifies blessing, help, humiliating an enemy, and safety from fear. Dyeing gray hair or beard with henna signifies elevation in rank and position. A woman's hands dyed with henna signify kindness from her husband. Henna for women signifies joy, fine clothing, relief, blessing, and adornment.
