Cave

Seeing a cave signifies safety and protection for a person who is in fear and hardship. A cave also signifies receiving an appointment, friendship with people of high standing, and deliverance from distress.

Seeing a cave is also interpreted in five ways: a person's master and imam, father, teacher and instructor, wife, and refuge. For an unemployed person, seeing a cave signifies obtaining a position, drawing close to the gate of government, and deliverance from distress.

Ibn Sirin said that entering a dark cave signifies the dreamer's death, because the cave is his grave.

Entering a cave and then immediately coming out signifies attaining relief and safety after a difficult and arduous matter. Sometimes seeing a cave signifies long life and continuing goodness for the dreamer, based on the famous story of the Companions of the Cave. A cave may also signify attaining blessing and a share of good fortune by association with the cave in which the Messenger of God and Abu Bakr al-Siddiq were together during the Hijra.
