Jacob (peace be upon him)

Seeing Jacob, peace be upon him, signifies provision, strength, blessing, a wife, a helper, and many sons.

Seeing the Prophet Jacob weeping from grief over Joseph signifies sorrow and grief, but eventually attaining joy and relief.

Seeing that messenger of the Truth also signifies attaining Allah's pleasure through much worship, sadness of heart, surrender to one's Generous Lord, and spending on the poor. At times, seeing Jacob signifies being separated from a beautiful and cherished child like Joseph, shedding tears, and later being reunited with that child and blessed with union and joy.

Seeing Jacob, peace be upon him, signifies abundant wealth, travel, high market prices, the return of something lost, a good outcome for one's family, wealth, and children. In view of the well-known story of Joseph, seeing Jacob also signifies sorrow and the loss of one's children or dearly loved ones, but eventually attaining authority and prosperity. If a person whose child or another possession has been lost sees Jacob, peace be upon him, it signifies that the child or lost thing will be found.
