Classical interpretations
Seeing oneself wear fur in winter signifies that goodness will reach the dreamer and that poverty and need will be relieved through it. Poverty is like cold, and because fur protects a person from cold, it therefore signifies benefit.
Seeing fur has also been interpreted in five ways: comfort, wealth, lawful earnings, rank and position, and marriage for an unmarried person.
Wearing fur in summer signifies benefit and goodness that will come together with sorrow and grief. Fur made from fox skin signifies a deceitful and scheming person, because the fox is considered the most cunning of animals. Fur made from leopard skin signifies oppressive people. Fur made from sheepskin signifies an honorable and trustworthy person. Fur made from squirrel skin signifies rank together with honor, boastfulness, pride, and irreligion.
Seeing oneself arrange or prepare a fur or a linen cloth signifies that something will come from an entirely unexpected place.
