Classical interpretations

Seeing oneself remember Allah signifies safety from fear and violence, the opening of the doors of goodness and mercy, recovery from illness, and difficult matters becoming easy.

Seeing oneself remember one's Generous Lord frequently signifies abundant goodness and joy, and also a rise in rank.

Seeing oneself remember Allah by saying “La ilaha illa Allah” signifies a blessing that will come very quickly, relief, and mercy. Reciting the declaration of divine oneness also signifies departing this life with faith at one's final breath.

Seeing “La hawla wa la quwwata” being recited signifies acquisition of wealth and blessing and being under Allah's protection and safety.

Ibn Kathir said: Seeing oneself recite “la hawla” signifies abundant goodness and finding a treasure, because this phrase is one of the treasures of Paradise.

Remembering Allah with the noble name “Allah,” or seeing that name being invoked, signifies soundness of religion and belief, being honored and respected in this world and the Hereafter, and receiving glad tidings of Paradise and divine pleasure.
