Dagger

Seeing a dagger signifies wealth and benefit; holding one signifies property and prosperity. Putting a dagger or knife into its sheath signifies marriage to a woman. The dagger may also signify power and strength because it protects against an enemy.

Ja'far al-Sadiq interprets knife and dagger through health, children, victory, refuge, a brother, strength, wealth, and office. Jabir al-Maghribi says holding only a dagger signifies receiving strength from an eminent person, while having other weapons with it signifies victory over an enemy.
