Monastery

Seeing a monastery signifies good character, withdrawing into seclusion, solitude, and cutting off carnal and sensual desires. For a sick person, seeing a monastery is interpreted as death, or the sick person will be deprived of worldly pleasures. Becoming the head of a monastery or having a monastery built signifies rank and high standing. Sometimes seeing a monastery signifies the head of state, a leader, or a person of fame and renown. The source states that a monastery is interpreted in the same way as a church and directs the reader to the entry on churches.
