Mucus

Seeing mucus signifies a child. Thus, if a person sees himself blow mucus onto the ground, his wife will give birth to a long-lived daughter.

Eating one's own mucus signifies consuming one's child's wealth.

Eating another person's mucus signifies consuming the wealth of that person's son. Blowing mucus onto one's own wife with one's hand signifies that she will become pregnant with a male child. Blowing mucus into another person's house signifies marriage to a woman from that household. Blowing one's nose with difficulty and hardship signifies release from sorrow, grief, and distress.

Seeing one person lick another person's mucus signifies plotting against that person's wife. Blowing one's nose signifies having a child who closely resembles oneself. Whoever blows mucus onto the ground will have a daughter; if unmarried, he will marry.

Seeing oneself blow out a nightingale signifies that one will have a child who recites the Qur'an.

Seeing one's mucus flow signifies many children. Blowing out mucus that is causing discomfort signifies release from sorrow and grief.
