Plane tree

Seeing a plane tree signifies a large-bodied man with many children who has bad character, is self-interested, and is of little benefit. The source also describes it as a useless bad person; the hardness of its branch represents the person's lineage and its roots their origin. At times a plane tree signifies war and is favorable for one going to the army, while for the public it may signify poverty and hardship.
