The Dajjal

Classical interpretations

Seeing the Dajjal emerge and cause turmoil signifies enemy aggression, bloodshed, sedition, and corruption. For a traveler or someone away from home it may signify the road being cut off. It may also signify the conquest of a city associated with unbelievers, the spread of religious innovation and misguidance, or the emergence of a misguided innovator among the people. Places through which the Dajjal passes signify grief, oppression, severe hardship, damage to crops and property, or deprivation of good through lack of rain.
