Drum

Seeing a drum generally signifies pleasant news. A military-band drum may signify a person who continually praises and thanks God; a drum played for warriors signifies honor and a blessing to be obtained, while a drummer signifies a bearer of news. Carrying or playing a drum at home with shouting signifies affliction. A drum played for the Hajj caravan signifies a guide. The source also gives unfavorable readings for certain drums, including false news, disreputable trade, or the death of a ruler's messenger.
