Interpretation of this dream
In your dream, the tap inside your home being left open and water flowing continuously indicates, in one respect, sustenance, abundance, and financial ease. In classical dream interpretations, a running tap is interpreted as a sign of benefit and increased livelihood. Since the home represents a person's world and family life, this dream points particularly to developments concerning your household and livelihood.
However, the water increasing to the point of flooding every part of the house and overflowing outside is the aspect of the dream that requires attention. In classical interpretations, water that exceeds its boundaries and covers the surrounding area may indicate sorrow, hardship, and certain events that could affect your peace of mind. Therefore, while your dream suggests opportunities for sustenance and benefit on the one hand, it can also be interpreted as a sign that you should take precautions against a problem that could grow within your family or financial affairs.
It is important that you did not mention the water being murky, the house collapsing, or anyone being harmed in your dream. For this reason, it would not be right to interpret the dream directly as a sign of a major disaster. The water overflowing beyond the house may be regarded as a warning against a possible issue growing to the point of extending beyond the boundaries of your home. It would be beneficial for you to resolve household matters in a timely manner, exercise moderation in financial matters, and give importance to prayer and charity.
