If a person sees himself obtain spoils in a dream, it signifies such things as ease, joy, provision, and attaining one's desire. His holiness Ibn Sirin said: Seeing spoils in a dream signifies the coming of good if they are from the wealth of unbelievers, and harm and loss if they are from the wealth of Islam.
Seeing the armies of Islam return with the spoils of the unbelievers signifies cheapness and blessing. The reverse, seeing the unbelievers take the wealth of the Muslims, signifies sorrow, grief, hardship, and famine.
Seeing oneself set aside a fifth of the spoils that come into one's hands is a sign of persevering in the five daily prayers.
