Seeing hazelnuts signifies a strange but wealthy, generous, profitable person who brings people together, and may also signify wealth obtained with difficulty.
Ibn Sirin says hazelnuts signify wealth and property; rotten or bitter nuts signify a miser. Jabir al-Maghribi says eating sweet, good hazelnut kernels signifies lawful wealth. Some interpreters say hazelnuts and other shelled fruits signify sorrow and shouting. A hazelnut tree signifies a rough-looking, cheerful person who loves music, entertainment, and drinking, with little good and much harm.
