If a person sees a wedding in a dream, it signifies the departure of sorrow and grief and a high rank.
Abu Sa'id al-Wa'iz said: Seeing a wedding in a dream is a sign of calamity for the one holding the wedding. For someone invited to the wedding, it is joy and gladness, provided there is no food.
Ibn Kathir also said: Seeing a wedding in a dream is interpreted as a funeral. Whoever sees his own wedding being held will soon have a funeral held for him.
Seeing a wedding in the house of a sick person signifies that sick person's death.
