Supplication in a dream signifies worship or prayer in waking life, attainment of one's aim, and a child. If the supplication is made with intense pleading and crying, it signifies calamities or discord; if it is very loud, the source associates it with little rain. Supplication may signify righteousness in religion, piety, strength of faith, and sound belief.
Ibn Kathir says supplication in a dream signifies acceptance of a supplication made while awake, and the source gives timing claims according to when the dream occurs. Praying to the Generous Lord, or having someone pray for the dreamer, signifies goodness and an enviable blessing, fulfillment of needs, and quick attainment of wishes. Praying to one's Lord in darkness signifies release from sorrow and grief.
