If a person sees the Prophet David (peace be upon him) in a dream, it is interpreted as strength and sovereignty, and that person will attain his wish.
Seeing David (peace be upon him) also signifies holding fast to piety and being accepted before Allah.
Seeing David (peace be upon him) also signifies weapons and tools made of iron. For the Prophet David made iron like wax with his hand. If the person who sees this dream is a blacksmith, he will benefit greatly from his craft and his provision will be ample. Sometimes seeing him is a sign of taking up a position.
Seeing him in a dream also signifies being tested through women and hardship that will come from women. If a person sees David (peace be upon him) and is fit for the task, it is a sign of governorship, leadership of a city, or a judgeship. If an oppressor sees David angry in a dream, it signifies a calamity that Allah Most High will send upon him. If a righteous person sees the Prophet David, it signifies being given glad tidings of increasing good, and much weeping and humility for the sake of Allah. Sometimes seeing him is a sign of reciting the noble Qur'an, remembrance and glorification of Allah, the delight and cheerfulness that come from recitation, cleansing from sins and evils, and repenting to Allah Most High and having one's repentance accepted. For David (peace be upon him) often recited the Psalms and stirred believing hearts with his beautiful voice.
