Seeing oneself in a state of zuhd signifies being loved by people, in accordance with the hadith: “Practice zuhd toward what is in people's hands, and people will love you.”
Zuhd, piety, and scrupulousness are things that lead to love of Allah.
Seeing them signifies receiving divine forgiveness.
